walk into any of our locations posted on this web site at the
designated time and we will be delighted to give you one. Please

receive the flu shot. Just remember, supplies are limited and first
come first served; so come as early as you can.
Yes, we do offer
pneumonia vaccine at the same time;
just ask the nurse for a pneumonia shot if you are over 50 years of
age and never had a pneumonia vaccination or it has
been over 5 years that you have received one.

Who CAN receive the flu shot at
our Flu Clinics?
Anyone who is 18 yrs of age or older, who wishes
to reduce his/her risk of acquiring influenza infection.
Who CANNOT
receive the flu shot?

Anyone who has had an allergic reaction to the
flu vaccine.

Anyone who is allergic to chicken eggs or any
component of influenza vaccine including Thimerosal.

Anyone who has already received an influenza
immunization in the past 6 months.

Anyone who has recently been immunized against
another type of illness. Please discuss this with our doctor.

Anyone who presently has a fever or infection.
-
Anyone who has a prior history of Guillian-Barre’
Syndrome.

Any female who has any possibility of being
pregnant or is currently nursing. Although it is recommended by most
Obstetricians that a pregnant woman receive her Influenza Vaccine,
it is our company policy that
your Obstetrician be
aware prior to your inoculation at out Flu Shot Clinics..Please
remember to ask for preservative free flu vaccine and avoid nasal
spray Flumist.
What are some
common side effects
-
Soreness at or around
the site of injection as well as swelling and redness.
-
Fever, chills,
malaise, headache, joint pain, rash, sore throat, dizziness, nausea,
vomiting, diarrhea for a few days after.

Rare neurological
disorders known as Gillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS).
-
Sever allergic
reaction may occur. Please remain in our office for 15 minutes
following your immunization for observation.
